Children
We are delighted to welcome families with children to our services. Each week we produce our own carefully designed resources for children of different ages, which are fun as well as informative, and complement the themes of our main sermon and biblical readings.
Great care is taken in maintaining everything in our Children’s Corner to the highest standards. Our policy is for children of all ages to remain in church throughout the service, to experience the riches of our worshipping tradition from a very young age, whilst at the same time enjoying resources and quiet activities specially designed for them. Children’s booklets, designed to accompany and ‘explain’ our Common Worship services, Parish Communion Service ‘Cubes’, and ‘Prayer Cubes’ are also available for use in the pews.
Our resources include a selection specially designed for the very young.
A number of churches in the Diocese have recently expressed great interest in the distinctive work that we are doing with young children, and we are currently exploring the possibility of developing our resources for wider use.
